TREATMENT PROCEDURES:
1.  B&B provides a detailed interior and exterior inspection by a Pest Management Professional to determine the correct methods of treatment. 
2.  The customer will be asked to provide assistance in pre-treatment preparation.  Vacuuming carpets and furniture is necessary prior to treatment.  Vacuum bag should be discarded at this time. 
3.  A solution is applied to all carpeted areas not adversely affected. 
4.  Upholstered furniture is treated on top surface and under cushions. 
5.  Special Insect Growth Regulators are applied to disrupt normal patterns of development. 
6.  A granular and liquid repellant is applied to the turf around the structure. 
7.  Our Pest Management Professional notifies the homeowner of applications performed, addresses any questions or concerns and schedules any follow up appointments if necessary.

W. D. O.  Inspection Reports - back to top

What is a Wood Destroying Organism?
A W. D. O.  Report is a written document of inspection for visible and accessible evidence of infestation of wood destroying organisms.  The organisms that would be listed on the report would be Subterranean Termites, Dry Wood Termites, Wood decaying fungi and other wood destroying insects. 

A W. D. O.  Report is provided when a home or any other structure is purchased or sold.  Most mortgage lender or buyer requires the inspection to be a part of the transaction. 

State law requires inspections to be conducted by a wood destroying organism identification card holder of a Pest Elimination & Protection Company licensed by the state of Florida.  All of our Pest Management Professionals receive special training to be qualified as W. D. O.  inspectors. 

What does a W. D. O.  Report tell a customer?

• Live Termites or other wood destroying organisms
• Evidence of infestation by termites or other wood destroying organisms
• Damage that was caused by Termites or other wood destroying organisms. 
• Previous treatment for Termites or other wood destroying organisms. 

The Pest Management Professional must report the common name of the wood-destroying organism identified with the location of the evidence.  All areas that are inaccessible for inspection must be noted.
